THE MOTHS
THE MOTHS a.k.a. DSL\FOUR are currently in the THE ZERO hotseat for a gig at THE TOWN HALL HOTEL in North Melbourne. Their DEMO CD has recently been passed onto unsuspecting venues including The Corner Hotel in Richmond and The Cornish Arms in Sydney Road. They are a four piece rock band comprising guitar, bass , drums and vocals performing a variety of original and borrowed material. The members are of varying noteriety, many already having made their mark on the Melbourne Music Scene. There is plenty more yet to come. They intend to gig regularly in the coming weeks and months so please stay tuned for details. Their manager and alleged ex-member of THE RESERVES has reportedly described the bands sound as 'velvetesque' a description which was applied to a primeval version of the band in the winter of 2002 known as DSL . In the mean time if you are bored check out his other band project, Hobart's very own Hey Mook or get him off his butt and give us some work. Suitable work includes live musical entertainment or media event appearances. He is currently attemting to produce a Demo Video. THE MOTHS have recently appeared at the Duke of Windsor in Prahan and at the Merton Rush Hotel in Morwell. Future plans include public appearances and recording. Suitable venues include pubs, clubs, festivals, benefits and exhibitions. |
